Our Fire Extinguisher Training Course familiarises learners with the purpose and function of all regularly used fire extinguishers. There are several types of fire that are linked with suitable extinguishers for workplace-specific safety.

Our Fire Extinguisher Training Course familiarises learners with the purpose and function of all regularly used fire extinguishers. There are several types of fire that are linked with suitable extinguishers for workplace-specific safety.
  • Class A: Extinguishers in this class are employed on wood and paper-based materials, as well as plastic and rubber.
  • Class B: Extinguishers are used to put out flammable liquids like chemicals and cleaning solutions.
  • Class C: Used to extinguish combustible gases before they build up in pressure.
  • Class D: Used to extinguish flammable metal fires.
  • Class E: Electrical fires and those involving electrical circuits need Class E extinguishers.
  • Class F: Used to put out kitchen and workplace fires caused by cooking oils and fats.

Dependent on the course taken the certification will be a Nationally Recognised Attendance Certificate for each Learner which exceeds Level 1 and Level 2 Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) 2005
